Baby Swain’s Newborn Session

These family photos at home in Raleigh are some of my favorites. I was lucky enough to meet Rachel and John shortly after I moved to Raleigh, NC in 2018. They responded to my call for free family photos and from that experience, they quickly turned from clients into friends. 

As luck would have it, Rachel and I were pregnant at the same time in 2023. I gave birth to my third baby (Henry) in September and Rachel delivered her first baby — beautiful little Swain —  just a few weeks later.

This family photography session at their home in Raleigh, North Carolina was my first re-introduction to my work as a family photographer after recovering from childbirth. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from this session below.
