Dix Park Sunflower Mini Session Recap
Every summer since 2018, the good folks at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, NC (well them and Raleigh Water and Raleigh Parks) plant 5-acres of sunflowers and wildflowers to serve as a pollinator habitat for bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. It’s a gorgeous, sweaty experience that my family hasn’t missed.
I’ve been wanting to offer sunflower mini sessions at the Dix Park Sunflower Field for years and 2024 was finally the year to do it. Big thank you to the family and friends that braved the sun and heat for these photos. I can’t wait to offer them again next year!
